A cushion cover made from thick, hand woven cotton with big stripes in white, brown, purple and yellow. The colors are made entirely by using natural dyes with indigo dye used for the blue color yarn and the brown and yellow yarn dyed with local tree bark while the white yarn is a natural, unbleached cotton.
This fabric has a distinctive feel to it that needs to be experienced in real life. The hand spun cotton yarn gives this cushion cover an irregular texture and color with unique details and full of character.
Made by artisans in the far corners of rural Thailand that practice the almost forgotten art of home textile making. All materials including the cotton and the plants and trees for the natural dying process are locally grown by the small farming communities.
