A very heavy-weight handwoven fabric made from pure cotton. Hand woven and hand dyed with natural dyes. This fabric has a luscious and luxurious feel to it that needs to be experienced in person, the photos don't do it justice.
This fabric has a stripe pattern in the weave with 2 colors of yarn, dark blue indigo and natural white.
Indigo dyed fabric will wear similar to jeans. It will bleach from washing and wearing but stay beautiful.
This fabric has a smooth feel to it and will get softer when washing.
This fabric is great for making cushions, clothes or bags. It is not difficult to work with but it is good to have a overlock (serger) machine as it can fray easily as is always the case with handwoven fabrics. Once locked and stitched the fabric is strong.
The price of this product is per meter (1.1 yards). If you order more it will come as one continuous length.
