Striped blue and white handwoven fabric made from pure cotton. Hand dyed with natural indigo dye. This is a tightly woven, medium to heavy fabric. It is a bit stiff now, probably because the weavers used rice starch to make the weaving easier. With washing and using it will get softer and smoother.
This fabric is great for making cushions, clothes or bags. It is not difficult to work with but it is good to have a overlock (serger) machine as it can fray easily as it always the case with handwoven fabrics. Once locked and stitched it is strong.
The price of this product is per meter (1.1 yards). If you order more it will come as one continuous length.

This is a medium to heavy weight fabric at 300 gr/m2
